Wellsite Geological Services is headed up by international senior wellsite geologist Kim Mair. Well-known in the industry, she’s been providing geology services to oil and gas companies and operators for more than 20 years.
Kim started in the industry after graduation, working at Robertson Research in Aberdeen for several years as a geologist in the core and special core analysis department, before heading offshore as a mudlogger and MWD engineer. She was quickly promoted to the role of wellsite geologist and latterly senior wellsite geologist. Her interests include coring, Zechstein salt sequences, geological hazards and LWD interpretation at the wellsite.
